The Wine

Goodworth Clatford Vineyard specialises exclusively in English sparkling wines, producing both a Brut and a Rosé from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes grown on site. Their wines have achieved significant acclaim, winning multiple awards at the WineGB Awards and 'Glass of Bubbly' competitions. Notable successes include a WineGB Gold in 2021 for their 2018 Brut, and a Silver for their 2019 Rosé in the same year. They followed this with another WineGB Gold for their 2019 Brut and a Silver for their 2020 Rosé in 2022, alongside further Gold and Silver medals since then.

The vineyard practices entirely sustainable and minimal intervention viticulture, aiming to allow the grapes to express their true character.

Goodworth Clatford wines are produced off-site at a state-of-the-art winery in Sussex, under the guidance of one of the UK’s leading winemakers.
