The Wine

Wyfold Vineyard specializes in producing exceptional sparkling wines, crafted from the classic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. These wines are made using the traditional method, ensuring depth and complexity.

Wyfold's sparkling wines have received numerous accolades and Trophies since their first release. Most recently, the Wyfold Vineyard Brut 2017 won a Gold medal at the WineGB Awards in 2023. The vineyard's wines consistently perform well, with the Wyfold Vineyard Rosé Brut 2018 receiving a Trophy at the IWSC in 2024, and the Brut 2018 and Rosé Brut 2019 both earning Silver medals at the IWSC in 2025. The Wyfold Vineyard Rosé 2018 also earned a Silver medal and 96 points. Wyfold wines are also recognised with Decanter awards.

The grapes are meticulously grown at the Wyfold Vineyard site in South Oxfordshire. However, the winemaking process is skillfully overseen by Barbara Laithwaite's son, Henry, at his award-winning sparkling wine estate in Marlow.
