Paddy's Wine Bar (pop-up) runs on selected Sat/Sun daytime 2hr arrival slots (12pm/2pm/4pm) and Thursday evenings 6-9pm, roughly weekly through summer -- booking required, site explicitly states walk-ups are not permitted under their licence for this. Separately, a guided Wine Tasting (£25pp, 90 min, seated, groups 2-16) runs at 12.30pm on the same selected dates. Note: a general Visit Us page elsewhere on the site says walk-ins are welcome where capacity allows, which contradicts the licence statement on the actual booking page -- treating the more specific licence wording as authoritative.

What's the vibe?

JoJo's Vineyard is a small family-run vineyard located in the Chiltern Hills in Oxfordshire, set on chalk slopes above Henley-on-Thames with views across one of the finest stretches of countryside in the south of England. The focus is on hands-on grape growing and producing English wines in a rural setting, with visits offered on a private, appointment-only basis.

Bookings:
Visits to JoJo's Vineyard are by appointment only, with availability on selected dates throughout the year. Tours and tastings are arranged directly with the vineyard and must be booked in advance. Check the website for current availability.

Tastings:
The standard tasting experience runs for 90 minutes and is fully seated, with views over the vines. All three JoJo's wines are covered in a guided format. Groups of two to sixteen are catered for. A cheese and charcuterie board can be added at the time of booking. Food must be pre-booked and artisan picnic hampers are also available as an add-on.

Events:
Beyond tastings, JoJo's hosts a varied programme of events across the year, including fire-cooked feast evenings, whole-animal butchery days, wine and pizza evenings, guided vineyard walking tours and sundowner evenings. The vineyard also partners with a local operator for wider Chiltern wine tours. Larger groups should enquire directly to discuss bespoke arrangements.

Dogs are welcome at the vineyard, with visitors asked to keep them under control during visits.

JoJo's Vineyard produces both still and sparkling English wines from grapes grown on its 2.2-hectare Chiltern Hills site. Grape varieties planted include Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Bacchus, Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir Précoce - a thoughtfully varied mix suited to the chalk-rich soils beneath the vines.

The vineyard sits on Lewes Nodular, Seaford and Newhaven Chalk formations, giving the site a geology broadly associated with some of England's most promising growing areas. South and south-west facing slopes on the Chiltern escarpment above Henley-on-Thames provide good sun exposure at meaningful elevation.

The vineyard follows a low-intervention approach to viticulture and wine production, with a focus on minimising environmental impact. Grapes are grown and managed on site, while winemaking is handled off site by Tommy Grimshaw, head winemaker at Langhams Winery in Dorset. The first vines were planted in May 2019, following four years of soil assessment and land preparation on what had previously been a horse paddock.

By Car:
The vineyard is best reached by car via local roads through the Chiltern Hills.

By Public Transport:
The nearest mainline railway station is Henley-on-Thames. From there, onward travel by taxi is required to reach the vineyard.
