Explore Balfour Winery's picturesque estate with a free self-guided tour, picking up a map from the Cellar Door. While picnics are not permitted, only food and beverages purchased on-site may be consumed. You can select a bottle of wine from the cellar door to enjoy on the terrace or at other designated areas. Children under 10 are not allowed on tours or inside the winery, and only visitors over 18 can taste alcohol. Dogs are generally not permitted on the estate walks or in the restaurant, but well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome on the downstairs terrace. After your tour, enjoy delicious sharing platters or artisan flatbreads at the Cellar Door, or dine at The Winemaker's Kitchen restaurant, which offers lunch daily and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Cellar Door also provides self-tutored tastings, and you can purchase Balfour wines, beers, and ciders.

For a truly self-guided outdoor experience, you can book a "Picnic in the Vineyard." Bring your own food to enjoy at a designated picnic site, pre-order your Yotes Court wine from the vineyard, and they will provide chilled wine, picnic glasses, and a cooler bag. This option welcomes both children and well-behaved dogs on a lead.

Alternatively, partake in a morning vineyard tour, which is guided, then conclude with a self-guided wine flight in the Cellar Door or on the Paddock Lawn. This "Vineyard Tour & Self-Guided Wine Flight" costs £25 per person. Children under 18 can join this experience for free when accompanied by an adult and receive a complimentary apple juice or ice cream. Well-behaved dogs on a lead are also welcome on this tour and during the self-guided wine flight. The self-guided wine flight includes tasting four Yotes Court wines with a tasting guide.

After your visit, the Cellar Door Wine Barn and Paddock Lawn offer a place to relax. You can purchase wine by the glass or a tasting flight, and enjoy light lunch options like charcuterie and cheese boards, as well as other snacks. Alcohol-free options are also available. The Cellar Door shop is open for purchasing wines to take home.
