The Wine

Brickhouse Vineyard produces distinctive English wines, primarily focusing on White and Rosé varieties. Their 2016 Sauvignon Blanc notably received a bronze award at the South West Vineyard Association Awards.


The vineyard places a strong emphasis on sustainability, maintaining organic gardens and practicing small-scale, sustainable farming, including no-dig vegetable growing.


While the grapes are grown at Brickhouse Vineyard, the wines are crafted off-site. Production takes place at Sandridge Barton, a local winery known for its skilled winemakers.

The vineyard is approximately a 20-minute drive from Exeter. Detailed directions are available from Exeter via the A379 or A380, and from Torquay/Newton Abbot via the A380.
