The Wine

Return to contents
Downsview Vineyard, located in the High Weald of Sussex, cultivates six grape varieties which are hand-harvested and crafted into a range of still and sparkling wines. The portfolio includes still white, sparkling white, still rosé, sparkling rosé, still red, and sparkling red wines, with vegan options available. Grape varieties grown include Dornfelder, Bacchus, Ortega, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. All wines are produced on site in a small, off-grid winery. Grapes are often crushed directly in the vineyard to preserve freshness and vibrancy. The vineyard follows sustainable farming principles, using eco-conscious methods throughout both viticulture and winemaking.
