Hidden Spring Vineyard is a family-run vineyard set in the East Sussex countryside, surrounded by vines and orchards. The estate offers a relaxed, rural setting focused on wine production and tasting, with a strong emphasis on careful vineyard management and hands-on winemaking.

Booking:
Advance booking is recommended for tours and tastings and can be made via the vineyard's website or by telephone.

Tours & Tastings:
Hidden Spring Vineyard offers guided tours of the vineyard and winery, followed by a tutored tasting of their still and sparkling wines. Tours last approximately 90 to 120 minutes and are priced from £20 per person. Tickets are free for children. Tastings focus on the estate's own wines and provide insight into grape growing and winemaking on site. A Wine Flight can also be booked separately for those who prefer a shorter tasting experience. Food at the Vineyard:
Hidden Spring does not operate a full-service restaurant, but regularly partners with guest food producers - including pizza and street food pop-ups - for on-site events. Check the events page for upcoming food and drink evenings.

Wine Club:
Hidden Spring runs a Cellar Club membership, offering access to exclusive wines, tank tastings, Makers' Lunches, tour and tasting vouchers and member discounts. Membership includes two cases per year.

Events:
The vineyard hosts a programme of events throughout the year, including wine-focused evenings and seasonal events. Private hire and event bookings are also available, with details published on the website.

Dogs & Children:
Dogs are explicitly welcome at the vineyard. Children are welcome and admitted free on guided tours. Visitors are asked to supervise children and keep dogs under control at all times.

Hidden Spring Vineyard produces a range of English still and sparkling wines made from estate-grown grapes. Grape varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus and Pinot Gris, alongside small-batch and experimental wines released under the estate’s own labels. All wines produced by Hidden Spring Vineyard are vegan.

Winemaking takes place on site, allowing the team to oversee the entire process from grape growing through to bottling. The vineyard follows a low-intervention approach in both the vineyard and winery, aiming to work in harmony with the surrounding environment and reduce unnecessary inputs wherever possible.

The nearest railway station is Polegate. From there, the vineyard can be reached by taxi or local bus services, followed by a short walk.
