Visiting information

Kingscote Estate welcomes visitors to its Cellar Door bar, shop, and cafe without pre-booking during opening hours.
Opening Hours:

  • Thursday – Saturday: 10am – 5pm
  • Sunday: 10am – 4pm
  • Closed Monday – Wednesday
Tours & Tastings: Vineyard tours and wine tastings require pre-booking online and are typically held Friday to Sunday.
On-site Facilities:

  • The estate hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including pizza nights, supper clubs, and seasonal celebrations.
Accommodation: Self-catering accommodation is available in two renovated properties, The Granary and The Oast House, located within the estate.

The Wine

Kingscote Estate produces a diverse range of still and sparkling wines from its 70 acres of vines. Their sparkling wine collection includes traditional method Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, Brut, and Rosé, alongside a Demi-Sec. For still wines, they offer a crisp Bacchus (white), an elegant Pinot Noir (red), and a dry Rosé.


Kingscote wines have garnered numerous accolades over the years. Notable awards include a Gold Medal for their Cuvée Christen NV in 2017 and a Gold Medal for their Blanc de Noirs Brut 2013 in 2020 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC). Their wines consistently receive medals at prestigious competitions such as the WineGB Awards, International Wine & Spirit Competition, International English Wine Awards (IEWA), and Decanter World Wine Awards.


The vineyard has been operating organically since 2019, reflecting their strong commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. Kingscote Estate also boasts its own state-of-the-art winery on site, allowing for full control over the winemaking process from grape to bottle.
