The Wine Return to contents
Llaethliw Vineyard cultivates a variety of both red and white grapes, including Solaris, Orion, Seyval Blanc, Bacchus, Phoenix, Madeleine Angevine for white wines, and Rondo, Regent, and Pinot Noir for reds. From these, they proudly produce a range of still white, rosé, and red wines, alongside sparkling white and sparkling rosé. They also craft their own Hansh Cider.

Their commitment to quality has earned them significant recognition. Llaethliw is an "Award Winning Welsh Vineyard". Notably, their white wine was celebrated as the "Best Welsh Wine for 2018" at the Welsh Vineyards Association awards. Their sparkling white wine also received a silver medal at the Welsh Vineyards Association Wine of the Year and a bronze at the UK Vineyard Association Wine of the Year competition in 2021.

The vineyard notes its practices as Organic on its website. The family has a strong focus on grape cultivation, with their son, Jac, having completed a Viticulture course to manage the vineyard. They collaborate closely with wineries to produce and bottle their wines, ensuring a high-quality product from their Welsh-grown grapes.
