Visiting:

Oastbrook Estate welcomes visitors primarily through pre-booked tours, tastings and events. Advance booking is recommended for all visits, particularly during peak season.

Tours & Tastings:

Guided vineyard tours and tastings run mainly from April to October, typically at weekends, with some weekday availability during the summer months. Tours are often led by the owners and include vineyard walks and a structured tasting, usually accompanied by light snacks such as cheese, biscuits and grapes.

Dedicated children’s tours are offered during school holidays. Children are not permitted on standard adult wine tours.

Cellar Door:

Wine can also be enjoyed by the glass or bottle at the cellar door without joining a full tour, subject to opening times and availability.

Special Events:

The estate hosts a small programme of seasonal events, which have previously included food pop-ups, yoga sessions in the vineyard and outdoor performances. Oastbrook is also licensed for weddings and private celebrations.

Accommodation:

On-site accommodation is a core part of the estate offering. Options include the Vineyard Hollow (a partially underground lodge), waterside lodges and luxury glamping units.

Dogs & Children:

Dogs are not permitted on site, with the exception of assistance dogs. Children are welcome only on designated children’s activities and tours.

The wines have received recognition in UK and international competitions, including Gold awards at WineGB and IEWA competitions, and a Bronze medal at the Sommelier Wine Awards for the Sparkling Rosé. Several releases have also been highlighted by UK wine journalists as strong-value English wines.

Oastbrook is a member of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain (SWGB) and follows a low-intervention approach to viticulture and winemaking. Vineyard practices focus on soil health, biodiversity and reduced chemical inputs. The on-site winery is designed for energy efficiency, with careful temperature control, insulation and water management, alongside composting and waste reduction initiatives.
