Restaurant/Cafe: There is no permanent restaurant or cafe on site. However, the winery hosts various events throughout the year, some of which may include pop-up dining experiences, food markets, or picnics.

Special Events: Mountfield Winery hosts a range of events including Winery Tours, Picnics, Cellar Door open days, and various food and antiques markets. Accommodation: Self-catering accommodation is available on-site. "The Kennels" is a cabin-style option situated at the edge of the estate, which can be found listed on Airbnb. Mountfield Winery specialises in producing premium English sparkling wines, crafted using the traditional method from grapes grown on their 10-acre vineyard. The vineyard cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grape varieties - planted in 2012 after careful site analysis across the estate. The blend leans Chardonnay-dominant, typically around 42% Chardonnay, 29% Pinot Meunier, and 26% Pinot Noir, with a proportion of reserve wine worked in for depth and consistency. The winery focuses on low quantities of first-class sparkling wines, meticulously caring for each of their 14,000 vines. Their winemaking approach includes fermenting wines in both stainless steel and oak barrels to enhance complexity, as well as blending wines from earlier vintages and long-aging their products to achieve a rich, layered taste profile.

The site itself plays a meaningful role in the wine's character. The vineyard sits on a south-facing slope at 50–85 metres altitude, on a mix of greensand and clay over a sandstone bedrock - terrain that offers good wind and frost protection and contributes a distinct mineral quality to the fruit.

Mountfield Winery's commitment to quality has been recognised with awards. They received a Silver medal at the 2019 Decanter World Wine Awards and another Silver at The Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships in 2022.

The vineyard benefits from a 15kw solar array on top of their wine store, contributing to their energy needs. Mountfield operates its own winery on site, converting an old dairy unit next to the vineyard. This proximity ensures that grapes go directly from vine to press without delay, preserving fruit quality.
