The Wine

Pant Du is a family-run vineyard and orchard that has cultivated its vines on the glacial slopes of the Nantlle Valley since 2007. They produce a range of Welsh wines, including elegant White, vibrant Rosé, and light, fruity Red varieties. Grape varieties grown include Seyval Blanc, Sigrrebe, Souvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder / Early Pinot Noir, and Rondo. Since producing their first bottle in 2010, Pant Du wines have received numerous awards and accolades, establishing a reputable name for their quality. They are also recognised as Trip Advisor Travelers' Choice award winners.

The vineyard operates its own winery where grapes are harvested by hand and processed.

Pant Du is committed to sustainability and is proud to be Wales' first solar-powered vineyard and orchard. They aim to be fully self-sustainable and environmentally friendly, with 44 solar panels on the cafe and processing plant roofs generating all the electricity needed for their operations, and surplus energy supplied to the national grid. Two boreholes provide all the water required for irrigation, drinking water, and cider production.
