Booking and Tours:

Visiting Red Wharf Bay Vineyard requires advance booking for tours and tastings. Tours are typically held on selected dates, limited to 14 guests, and run from 10:00 to 12:30. Private tours can also be arranged. Be aware that tours involve walking on slopes and uneven ground, so suitable outdoor footwear is recommended.

Tours are priced from £29 per person for adults, with accompanied 14–17 year olds not tasting wine from £8 per person. Smaller children and babies are welcome free of charge - just mention them at the time of booking. Book a tour on the vineyard website.

Refreshments:

While there is no full restaurant or café on-site, tours include a tasting of three wines paired with "Anglesey Tapas," which highlight the vineyard's Spanish connection.

Dogs and Children:

Dogs are welcome on tours free of charge - just let the vineyard know when you book. Children are welcome too; teenagers aged 16 and 17 may drink wine on the premises when dining and seated with a parental group.

Shop:

The vineyard has an on-site shop offering wines, ceramics, and tour vouchers, as well as an online shop for those who can't visit in person.

Accessibility:

The vineyard involves slopes and uneven ground throughout; it is not suitable for visitors with limited mobility.

Red Wharf Bay Vineyard produces a range of Welsh wines, including both still and sparkling varieties. Their portfolio features vibrant sparkling wines such as Pefriog Brut and Rosé Brut. By Car:
When approaching by car from the Britannia Bridge (A55), take the A5025 exit towards Amlwch and Benllech. Continue for approximately 4 miles until you reach Pentraeth. In Pentraeth, turn right onto the B5109 (between the church and The Panton Arms). After 200 yards, turn left off the B5109, then another left after 200 yards onto Lon Y Traeth. The vineyard, Llain Gam, is about 750 yards down Lon Y Traeth, the first house on the left. Do not follow signs directly to Red Wharf Bay village, as the vineyard is on the opposite side of the bay.

By Public Transport:
The nearest bus stops are in Pentraeth, with the Panton Arms Hotel and Post Office being approximately a 19-21 minute walk away. The Saron bus stop in Red Wharf Bay is approximately a 9-minute walk. Bus routes 50, 62, and 62C serve the area. The nearest train station is Bangor, from which a taxi to the vineyard takes approximately 18 minutes and costs between £19-£23.
