Overview Return to contents
What's the vibe?
Gwinllan Hebron (with gwinllan meaning vineyard in Welsh) is a small, family-run vineyard in rural West Wales, rooted in regenerative farming and low-intervention winemaking. Visits feel personal and unhurried, with an emphasis on spending time among the vines, understanding the land, and enjoying wine in a relaxed countryside setting rather than a formal, hospitality-led environment.Visiting information Return to contents
Gwinllan Hebron welcomes visitors both through booked experiences and, by arrangement, more informal visits to the vineyard.
Access to the vineyard:
Visitors are welcome to walk around the vineyard outside of guided tours, preferably by prior arrangement. Guests purchasing a bottle of wine are encouraged to linger, with picnic rugs and glasses provided for enjoying the vineyard setting at a slower pace.
Tours & Tastings:
Tours, tastings and tapas experiences are available and require pre-booking online. The vineyard enjoys welcoming visitors and discussing their regenerative viticulture and natural winemaking philosophy.
Dining:
Thoughtfully curated tapas dishes are available as part of the tour and tasting, designed to pair with their natural wines. These dishes are created by co-owner Jemma, a chef and food educator; the tapas are inspired by the owners’ time in their first vineyard in Spain, using homegrown and local organic produce.
Children are welcome, and the vineyard features magical gardens with tree swings, dens and streams for exploring.
Dogs:
Dogs are welcome on tours, tastings and tapas events, provided they are kept on leads. Dogs are not permitted in the on-site accommodation.
Accommodation:
On-site accommodation is available year-round in a converted dairy barn known as The Barn. The accommodation can be booked independently of vineyard visits, though many guests choose to combine their stay with a tour, tasting or tapas event as part of a longer visit to this part of West Wales.

The Wine Return to contents
Gwinllan Hebron Vineyard, planted in 2010, produces both sparkling and still natural wines of Wales. Their first releases in 2019 included a red wine and a traditional method zero-dosage sparkling wine. The vineyard cultivates Solaris (white) and Rondo (red) grape varieties, producing a range of white, red, rosé and orange styles, including Natural Amphora Solaris and Natural Amphora Rondo Rosado.
The winemaking process is carried out entirely in the on-site winery, relying solely on wild ferments and utilising ceramic amphora for fermentation. The aim is always to make natural wines from estate-grown grapes only, without intervention in either the vineyard or the winery. All wines are vegan-friendly.
Sustainability sits at the core of the vineyard’s identity. Planted in 2010, Gwinllan Hebron became the first vineyard in the UK to receive regenerative certification from A Greener World (AGW). The vineyard has also been recognised by Visit Wales as a Welsh “Hidden Gem”.
