Vineyard Tours & Wine Tastings run Thursday to Sunday at 10.30am and 2.30pm (plus an extra Sunday 10.30am slot), maximum 20 people, booked in advance. The site also has an on-site Vine Café/restaurant, but its opening hours weren't published - check separately before visiting for food/drink without a tour.

Opening hours can change for private events - it's always worth checking the vineyard's website before you visit.

What's the vibe?

Venn Valley Vineyard is a family-run vineyard in North Devon offering a relaxed rural setting and owner-led experiences focused on English wine, food, and hospitality.

Booking: Vineyard tours and tastings must be booked in advance. The on-site café, The Vine, is open to visitors without a tour booking.

Tours & Tastings: Owner-guided tours run throughout the seasons, last 90 minutes, and include a walk through the vineyard, an introduction to the winemaking process, and a tasting of up to four estate wines. Tours are priced from £20 per person and must be booked in advance via the tours page.

On-site Café: The Vine café serves home-cooked food and drinks, including coffee, cakes, lunches and wine. No booking is required for the café. Find out more on the café page.

Wine Shop: Estate wines are available to buy on-site and through the online shop.

Private Hire: The Vine café can be privately hired for events and gatherings of all kinds. Contact the vineyard to discuss availability and arrangements.

Dogs & Children: Dogs on leads and children are welcome at the vineyard and café.

Accessibility: The Vine café has wheelchair access. Vineyard tours take place outdoors on grass and uneven ground; visitors with specific access requirements are advised to contact the vineyard ahead of their visit.

Venn Valley Vineyard produces a range of English wines, including sparkling, still white, and rosé styles, made from grapes grown on site. Wine production takes place at the estate, with a focus on expressing the character of the vineyard and its North Devon setting.

The vineyard follows a considered approach to land management and vine growing, with attention paid to soil health and biodiversity as part of its long-term viticultural practices.

By Car: The vineyard is easily reached from the A361 and offers free on-site parking.

By Public Transport:
The nearest railway station is Barnstaple. Local bus services also operate in the area, with stops close to the vineyard entrance.
