Tours and Tastings: Vineyard tours and wine tastings are available from Thursday to Sunday. Pre-booking is essential for tours, which can be done via their online portal or by contacting them directly. A self-guided wine tasting paired with local cheeses is also available.

Restaurant: "The View" restaurant is located on-site, offering modern British and classic cuisine with stunning views over the vineyard and Shropshire Hills. They operate a "scratch kitchen" philosophy, using locally sourced produce.
Accommodation: Hencote provides luxury on-site accommodation, including lodges (some with private hot tubs) and The Grange, a renovated Georgian farmhouse suitable for larger groups.
Special Events: Hencote regularly hosts special events, with details often announced via their newsletter.
Children: Children are welcome at the venue and can join the vineyard tours for a reduced fee, receiving a juice tasting and activity booklet. Under 18s are not permitted to participate in wine tasting.
Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are generally welcome in the outdoor areas and the general venue. However, for safety and hygiene, they are not permitted on vineyard tours or inside the winery.

The Wine

Hencote produces a range of high-quality English wines, including still white, elegant rosé, sparkling white, and still red varieties. Their vineyards are planted with classic grape varietals such as Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Solaris, and other unique grapes like Pinot Noir Précoce, Rondo, and Seyval Blanc, allowing for a diverse portfolio.

Hencote wines have garnered significant recognition, winning numerous accolades at prestigious international competitions. Notably, they made history by becoming the first UK vineyard to win Gold medals at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) for two different still red wines: the Mark I 2018 and the Amphora Pinot Noir 2018. More recently, their wines, including Isadora 2019 and Mark IV 2022, have continued to receive Silver and Bronze awards at both the IWC and Decanter World Wine Awards in 2024.

The vineyard is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. They employ a minimal pesticide program and hand-work each vine, believing this meticulous approach allows for the authentic expression of their wine within the Shropshire terroir, while fostering a flourishing natural environment. Hencote also boasts its own on-site winery, where the grapes are transformed from vine to bottle.
