The Wine

Henners Vineyard is dedicated to crafting a distinguished range of premium English sparkling and still wines. They primarily cultivate the classic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.

Their sparkling wine collection includes the popular Brut NV and Brut Rosé NV, alongside vintage releases such as the Henners Vintage (e.g., 2018) and Blanc de Blancs (e.g., 2018), all produced using the traditional method. Still wines offered encompass varietals like Gardner Street Classic, Native Grace Barrel Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Gris.

Henners wines have received significant acclaim. The Henners Brut 2010 was awarded Gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards. More recently, their wines garnered high scores from Wine Enthusiast, with the Non-Vintage Brut receiving 94 points (Editor's Pick), the 2018 Vintage an outstanding 96 points (Editor's Pick), and the 2018 Blanc de Blancs 95 points in 2023.

The vineyard is a founding member of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain (SWGB), established in 2020 to champion sustainability in the English and Welsh wine industry. In 2025, Henners achieved SWGB's Gold Trademark for its commitment to sustainable practices across both the vineyard and winery. This includes efforts to reduce their carbon footprint, minimize water usage, improve wastewater management, and enhance soil health and biodiversity. Henners operates its own winery on-site, overseeing the entire production process from fermentation to bottling.
