What's the vibe

Bardingley Farm offers a glimpse into a historic Kentish estate, centered around a beautifully restored 13th-century Wealden Hall House. It evokes a sense of tranquil, private countryside and a deep connection to the land and its winemaking heritage.

Visiting information

Bardingley Farm is not open to the public for general visits. There is no on-site restaurant or cafe, nor is there accommodation for guests. The vineyard does not offer regular tours or events for visitors.

The Wine

Bardingley Vineyard, first planted in the late 1970s and lovingly restored from 2005, focuses primarily on producing sparkling wine, though their first commercial release was a still rosé. They cultivate Pinot Noir and Rondo grape varieties. While historically aiming for red wine production, they are currently known for their sparkling and rosé offerings and hope to expand red wine production in the future.

The vineyard benefits from its micro-climate, being situated below Kent's sandstone ridge. Bardingley Farm does not have its own winery; their wines are expertly made by Sam Linter at Bookers Vineyard in Sussex. No specific awards for Bardingley Farm's wines were found in recent competitive listings.
