Bespoke/private tours available by request outside this. Previous entry presented this as if it were regular Saturday walk-in hours (10am-5pm), which was an unconfirmed guess, not something the site actually states.

Nine Oaks Vineyard offers a calm, small-scale vineyard experience in the Kent countryside, centred on quality winemaking rather than a busy visitor setup. Family-run and independent, it’s a place to spend time learning about the wines themselves, with visits designed to be personal and considered rather than casual drop-ins.

Nine Oaks Vineyard does not operate as a walk-in visitor attraction. All visits are by advance booking and are centred around guided experiences.



Tours & Tastings:
Guided vineyard tours and wine tastings run every Saturday from April to September, by pre-booking only. The standard experience lasts around one and a half to two hours and includes a walk around the three-hectare site and a structured tasting of at least three estate wines. Pricing starts from around £20 per person - check the website for current availability and to secure a place.

Private visits can be arranged for groups of between two and thirty people, with pricing available on request and packages starting from £300 for options that include a Kent cheese and charcuterie board lunch and transport to and from Ashford International Station. Children are welcome on private tours by prior arrangement.

Getting here without a car:
Ashford International Station is approximately ten minutes by car. Private tour packages can include a pick-up and drop-off from the station - worth enquiring about when booking if you are travelling by train.

Dogs:
Only trained assistance dogs are permitted at the vineyard.

Parking:
Parking is available on site within the vineyard parking area.

Facilities:
The vineyard does not have a traditional cellar door, café, or restaurant. Visits are structured around the tour and tasting experience rather than informal drop-in drinking or dining.

Special Events:
Nine Oaks Vineyard runs a programme of events through the year, including seasonal supper clubs, wine and floristry workshops, and off-site tasting events at venues such as Turner Contemporary in Margate. Events are announced individually - see the vineyard website for what is coming up.

Nine Oaks Vineyard produces small-batch, estate-grown English still and sparkling wines from three hectares of Kent countryside near Ashford. The current range includes a Pinot Noir rosé, Bacchus, and Chardonnay, alongside a traditional method Classic Cuvée sparkling wine and a Blanc de Blanc.

The wines have received national recognition, including medals at the WineGB Awards and the Independent English Wine Awards. The Bacchus has been particularly well received in recent competitions.

The vineyard is sustainably farmed, with an agronomist working closely with the team on careful canopy and soil management. The approach is deliberately low-volume: the priority is quality at every stage rather than scale of output. Winemaking takes place at Defined Wines in Bridge, Kent, a collaboration that has helped shape the style of the range from its earliest harvests.

Nine Oaks wines are available to buy online with UK delivery, and the vineyard has exported to international markets - a notable milestone for an estate of this size.

Ashford International is the nearest major train station, approximately a ten-minute drive away. Visitors arriving by train will need to arrange a taxi for the final leg of the journey.
