Open to walk-ins Thursday 12pm-9pm, Friday and Saturday 9am-11pm, Sunday 9am-7pm - drop in to sip sparkling wine and spirits in the winery or on the terrace, or buy bottles to take home. Monday-Wednesday is by appointment/private function only (occasional Bank Holiday exceptions). Previous entry wrongly lumped Thu-Sat together at a flat 10am-11pm -- Thursday and the Fri/Sat opening time were both wrong. Guided Tours and Tastings can be booked separately.

Opening hours can change for private events - it's always worth checking the vineyard's website before you visit.

Mereworth Wines offers a charming and relaxed atmosphere, feeling both tucked away yet easily accessible. It's a stylish, yet unpretentious destination where staff are dedicated to ensuring visitors have a delightful experience enjoying quality English wine.

Tours and Tastings: Guided winery tours followed by a sparkling wine tasting are available throughout the week. Prices start from £30 per person midweek and from £35 per person at weekends. On Friday evenings, a tour, tasting and pizza experience is available from £48 per person. Midweek tours last approximately 60 minutes; weekend tours approximately 90 minutes. Winery Bar and Kitchen: The on-site Winery Bar and Kitchen serves stone-baked pizzas, oysters, ciabattas and small plates. Afternoon tea is available and must be pre-booked. Sunday Jazz sessions bring live music to the winery regularly. Dogs and children are both welcome, and a children's menu is available.

Gift Shop: A shop on site stocks wines, spirits and gifts, with purchases also available via the online shop.

Private Hire: The winery bar, seating areas, terrace and dance space are available for exclusive hire. Suitable occasions include parties, wedding receptions, corporate events, baby showers, product launches and wakes. Midweek, evening and weekend slots are available.

Accommodation: There is no accommodation directly on site.

Loyalty Card: A loyalty card scheme offers members discounted tour pricing - weekend tours from £30 per person instead of the standard £35.

Mereworth Wines is renowned for its award-winning world-class English Sparkling Wine, crafted from grapes grown in their own Kentish vineyards. Their range of sparkling wines includes "White from Black" (a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier), "White from White" (made from Chardonnay), and a "Pink" sparkling wine (primarily Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier). Beyond their acclaimed sparkling wines, they also produce still wines and gin.

Their sparkling wines have received significant recognition, with vintages of all three styles earning Decanter awards. Notably, their 2018 White from Black was awarded a Silver medal in the 2024 Decanter awards, scoring an impressive 91/100.

Mereworth Wines operates its own on-site winery, Brewers Hall Oast, where they handle the entire production process from harvesting to bottling, ensuring full control over the quality of their wines.

By Public Transport: The nearest train station is West Malling. From there, a taxi takes approximately 5 minutes, or a bus journey takes about 8 minutes.
