The Wine Return to contents
Black Mountain Vineyard grows a mix of classic and hybrid grape varieties on its Herefordshire site, including Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Phoenix, Solaris and Cabernet Cortis. These plantings support a range of still and sparkling wines produced in small quantities.

Winemaking takes place in an off-grid, on-site winery, where wines are made using a low-intervention approach. Fermentation and maturation are carried out with minimal handling, and wines are made without fining or filtration. Sulphur is not added during production.

The vineyard is certified organic by the Soil Association and follows natural farming principles aimed at building soil health and reducing environmental impact.
