Visiting information

Tours & Tastings: Cobble Hill Vineyard offers guided tours of their vineyard and winery, providing insights into viticulture and winemaking. Tours include a tasting of a minimum of five current wine releases and a delicious lunch platter.

Duration & Cost: Tours last approximately 90 minutes and cost £30 per person.Booking: Tours require a minimum of 6 people to go ahead. For individual bookings or smaller groups, it's best to check their calendar. Larger groups can arrange alternative times.

Availability: Tours are available from midday, Thursday to Saturday, between April and October.

The Wine

Cobble Hill Vineyard cultivates Bacchus, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay grapes on its south-facing, chalk-rich soils, ideal for producing high-quality English wines. Their selection includes beautifully crafted still white, still red, and rosé wines, alongside elegant English sparkling wines.

The vineyard has earned several prestigious accolades for its wines. Their 2019 Sparkling Rosé received a Gold Medal at the 2022 Wines of Great Britain National Awards, an esteemed recognition within British winemaking. Additionally, their Bacchus 2022 was awarded a gold medal in the WineGB East Region Awards, and the Bacchus 2020 received a Silver award in 2021.

Cobble Hill Vineyard operates its own winery on the family farm, a £250,000 facility that opened in 2021, ensuring meticulous control over their winemaking process from grape to bottle.
