What's the vibe?

Flint Vineyard offers a unique blend of old-world winemaking traditions and pioneering modern techniques, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere. Set within the picturesque Waveney Valley, it's a place where you can experience the passion behind ultra-premium, low-volume wines in a welcoming Norfolk setting.

Cellar Door: Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm. You are welcome to pop in for informal tastings, browse the shop, amble through the vines, or simply enjoy a glass of wine in the garden.

Tours & Tastings: Guided tours exploring the vineyard and winery run Wednesday to Sunday at 11am and must be pre-booked. Tours last around 2 hours and include a guided tasting of four wines, from £25 per person. Wine Club members on the All of Flint or Flint Community packages can book tours free of charge.

Dining: Flint Kitchen serves locally sourced, seasonal sharing plates from midday to 2:30pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Drop in or book a table. A monthly Supper Club on Friday evenings offers a multi-course menu built around the seasons.

Events: A calendar of special events is hosted throughout the year. Regular events include Fridays at Camphill and Sundays at Camphill from May to September, featuring music, street food and wine. Winery Masterclasses, Supper Clubs and Twilight Tours with dinner are also available. See the events page for what's coming up.

Private Hire: Private tours of the vineyard and winery, as well as private guided tastings, are available for larger groups - whether for a birthday, wine society or social occasion. Lunch from the Flint Kitchen can be arranged before or after.

Shop: All wines are available to buy by the bottle or case from the Cellar Door shop, or via the online shop.

Wine Club: Flint runs a wine club offering exclusive experimental wines and vineyard experiences for members.

Accommodation: There is no accommodation directly on site. The vineyard lists several recommended places to stay nearby at flintvineyard.com/pages/where-to-stay.

Dogs & Children: Flint Vineyard is dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs on leads throughout the site, including the Flint Kitchen and garden. Children of any age are welcome on site.

Flint Vineyard produces a diverse range of critically acclaimed English still and sparkling wines. Their portfolio includes vibrant white wines such as Bacchus and Silex Blanc, beautifully balanced Pinot Noir Précoce, and rosé wines. They also craft sparkling wines using both the Charmat method and traditional methods. Key grape varieties grown include Bacchus, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Gris, and sustainable PIWI varieties.

The wines have garnered significant recognition. The Bacchus has won numerous awards, notably a Gold medal at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards and East Anglia Wine of the Year in 2017. Their Pinot Noir Précoce 2022 was awarded WineGB East Wine of the Year in 2022. Additionally, their Pinot Blanc 2016 received a Silver Medal at the International Wine Challenge, and a Traditional Method sparkling wine earned a Silver Medal at the International Wine Challenge in 2019.

Flint Vineyard is committed to sustainable and environmentally-friendly winemaking. They employ natural methods for pest and disease control, and grapes are hand-harvested. Their approach focuses on minimal intervention winemaking, aiming to showcase the unique terroir of East Anglia. The vineyard boasts its own state-of-the-art winery on site, where the winemaking process is meticulously overseen.
