Halfpenny Green Wine Estate offers a family-run countryside experience, combining serious winemaking with a welcoming atmosphere, including a restaurant and craft village. Many visitors appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the opportunity to taste a variety of wines.

Open All Year: Halfpenny Green Wine Estate is open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Tours: Guided tours are available on selected dates from February to October and require pre-booking. Self-guided vineyard trails are also available, with helpful signs explaining grape varieties.

Restaurant & Cafe: An on-site restaurant and tearoom serve freshly prepared British cuisine, including breakfast, lunch, and high tea. Bookings are recommended for the restaurant.

Dogs & Children: Both children and dogs are welcome at the estate.

On-site Businesses: In addition to the vineyard, there is a craft village featuring 16 bespoke and artisan businesses, along with a gift shop and deli.

Halfpenny Green Wine Estate produces a wide range of still and sparkling English wines, crafted in their on-site winery built in 2005. The vineyard cultivates 30 acres of vines, growing a variety of grapes including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Bacchus, Dornfelder, and Seyval Blanc. They produce between 50,000 to 60,000 bottles annually under their own label and also perform contract winemaking and bottling for other UK vineyards.

The estate's wines have received numerous accolades. In 2024, Halfpenny Green Wine Estate had significant success at the WineGB Awards, winning 32 regional awards, including "Winemaker of the Year." Their English Rosé and Penny Red wines were category winners for the Midlands and North. In 2023, their Chardonnay 2019 received a silver medal at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards, with their Classic Cuvée Brut sparkling wine earning a bronze medal in the same competition.

Halfpenny Green Wine Estate is a member of the Wines of Great Britain (WineGB) sustainability scheme, launched in 2020. This initiative aims to reduce carbon footprint, improve winery design and soil health, conserve the environment, promote biodiversity, and optimise canopy management and grape yield.
