Nestled on the peaceful, rural south-facing slopes of The Abberley Hills in Worcestershire, this vineyard offers a tranquil escape where the family growing the vines also host the tour and tastings.

Abberley Hills Vineyard offers guided tours and tastings primarily from June to September. These experiences must be pre-booked.

Tours: Led by vineyard owner Peter, tours provide insight into vine growing in the local climate and the varieties cultivated.

Tastings: Following the tour, guests enjoy an informative tasting of their wines, including two vintages of Marley Red, two white wines (Marley White and Solaris), and their Sparkling Brut, accompanied by canapés.

Cost: Tours and tastings are priced at £22.00 per person, with a maximum of 12 people per group, ensuring a personal experience.

Private Events: Private party bookings are also available upon request.

Wine Sales: Wines are available for purchase on site (card payment only).

Abberley Hills Vineyard cultivates predominantly red grape varieties, including Rondo, Regent, and Pinot Noir, alongside white grapes such as Phoenix and the recently planted Solaris. These grapes contribute to their range of English wines.

Their signature still red wine, Marley Red, is a blend of their red grape varieties. The 2022 Marley Red received a Silver Award in the WineGB regional competition and was recognised as the best still red and best still wine in the South West. Their Sparkling Brut, crafted from Phoenix grapes, also earned a Silver Medal at the 2024 WineGB West Awards. The vineyard handles its own winemaking processes, ensuring control from grape to bottle.

By Public Transport: The nearest major train station is Worcester Foregate Street. From Worcester Bus Station, the Line 758 bus provides a direct service to Great Witley, taking approximately 23-24 minutes. This bus service operates five times a day, Monday to Saturday. The closest bus stop to the vineyard is the Hundred House Hotel in Great Witley, which is about an 11-minute walk away.
