The Wine

Hazel End Vineyard is primarily known for producing high-quality English Sparkling Wine, crafted from classic Champagne varietals including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Their range typically includes a Classic Cuvée, Blanc de Blancs, Rosé, and Demi-Sec. The vineyard also produces still wines, featuring heritage varieties such as Bacchus, Müller-Thurgau, Huxelrebe, and Reichensteiner.

The vineyard has a history of producing award-winning wines, notably earning a gold medal at the national Wine of the Year competition in June 2011.

Hazel End Vineyard does not have its own on-site winery. Their still wines are made at Shawsgate, while the secondary fermentation for their sparkling wines is carried out by Dermot Sugrue at Wiston Estate.
