Visits are via ticketed, dated Vineyard Tour & Tastings (£25pp, ~90 min, specific dates only). Online wine orders can be collected on-site but only with a pre-arranged collection time (Click & Collect) - no general walk-in cellar door access.

Tuffon Hall is a family-run vineyard and working farm in Sible Hedingham, Essex, producing English wines alongside events, retreats and wedding celebrations. It blends country charm with hosted vineyard experiences.

Tours & Tastings:
Guided tours run from March to October on scheduled public dates, with private group visits available year-round for parties of ten or more. Each tour takes around 90 minutes, covering a gentle walk through the vineyard before finishing in the 16th-century Cellar Door barn with a tasting of wines and gin. Public tours are priced from £25 per person; private group tours from £35 per person. A grazing platter upgrade - smoked cheeses and charcuterie - is available from £45 per person. The vineyard hosts tasting experiences that culminate in the historic barn, where guests sample wines and gin as part of the tour. On-site Dining:
There is no permanent restaurant. Tours and tastings can be paired with grazing platters on request. The vineyard also runs ticketed dining evenings in the Cellar Door barn throughout the year - the Around the World series pairs a themed sharing feast with matched wines across five dates, priced from £100 per person. Tuffon Hall hosts seasonal experiences and events, including Jazz in the Vines (a family-friendly outdoor event with child tickets available), Club Alpine, and themed wine tasting evenings. Accommodation:
On-site accommodation is available across four properties. The six-bedroom farmhouse sleeps up to 12 and includes a ground-floor double room suited to guests with accessibility needs. Three vineyard retreats - The Bothy, The Poacher's Hut, and The Grain Silo - offer more intimate stays, with wood-fired hot tubs and countryside views. The Grain Silo is particularly distinctive, with a mezzanine bedroom set beneath a retractable stargazing roof. Accommodation is bookable via the website. Children:
Children are welcome at Tuffon Hall. Family-friendly events such as Jazz in the Vines offer child tickets, and the farmhouse is well suited to family stays with space to explore the surrounding farm and countryside.

Tuffon Hall produces a range of still and sparkling wines made from grapes grown on the estate, including varieties such as Bacchus, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The vineyard’s wine range also includes rosé and traditional method sparkling styles, plus small-batch spirits including grape gin and sloe gin. The estate’s Beatrice Pinot Noir Rosé 2022 was awarded Best Still Rosé in Great Britain at the WineGB Awards 2023. Other vintages have earned accolades in national English wine competitions.

The closest train station is Braintree. A taxi from Braintree station to the vineyard takes around 14 minutes. Local buses serve Sible Hedingham, with a bus stop (Yeldham Road) about a 15–20 minute walk from the vineyard.
