The Wine

JoJo's Vineyard produces both exceptional sparkling and still English wines. They cultivate seven grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Bacchus, Seyval Blanc, and Pinot Noir Précoce. Their current releases include a vibrant Bacchus Seyval Blanc Blend, and the elegant Premier Cuvée and Premier Rosé, both from the 2021 vintage. At the sparkling wine launch, five Masters of Wine were reportedly very impressed, with one commenting on the "delicious first release" and admitting they "couldn't resist buying some."

The vineyard embraces a low-intervention approach to viticulture and wine production, aiming to minimise environmental impact while crafting honest wines that truly reflect their unique Chiltern Hills terroir. Their commitment extends to modern technological, sustainable, and ecological agriculture. The grapes are carefully nurtured on site, but the winemaking process itself is carried out by their team at the Langham Wine Estate in Dorset.
