Dropmore Vineyard is a small, family-run vineyard located on the edge of Burnham Beeches in Buckinghamshire. It offers a quiet, low-key setting focused on small-scale wine production rather than regular public visiting.

Dropmore Vineyard is a private vineyard and is not open for casual or walk-in visits.

Visiting: During the summer months, the vineyard offers pre-arranged tours and tastings for small groups. All visits are strictly by appointment only and must be arranged directly with the vineyard in advance.

Tours and tastings: The Talk and Taste experience combines a guided tour of the vineyard with a wine tasting and the opportunity to buy. Vouchers are available to purchase online and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The date of your visit is then arranged directly with the vineyard by email. Tickets are priced from £25 per person.

Dropmore Vineyard grows five varieties - Bacchus, Chardonnay, Ortega, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir - across just over three acres of gently sloping, south-east facing land at around 65 metres above sea level. The site sits on the fringes of Burnham Beeches and benefits from good sun exposure for a vineyard this far north. Planting began in 2008.

The grapes are harvested by hand and taken off site to be made into wine by Nico Centonze at Stanlake Park Wine Estate in Berkshire. The range includes both sparkling and still styles.

Despite its small scale, the vineyard has built a strong competitive record. Its wines have won a Decanter World Wine Award, taken the T&CVA Best Overall Wine title, and collected regional trophies including the Mac Mackinnon Trophy for best still white wine and the Stefanowiz Salver for best still rosé, alongside multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals at national competitions.

The vineyard is situated close to Burnham Beeches and is best reached by car using local roads.

By Public Transport
The nearest railway station is Burnham, with direct services to London Paddington. Slough station is also nearby. From either station, a short taxi journey is required to reach the vineyard.
