What's the vibe?

Harrow & Hope is a producer-first vineyard rather than a casual visitor destination. It’s best understood as a working winery that occasionally opens its doors for tightly curated, pre-scheduled experiences. Visits feel focused and intentional, centred on high-quality English sparkling wine rather than walk-in tourism, and most people who visit do so having planned well in advance.

Visiting Harrow & Hope

Harrow & Hope does not offer drop-in visits, private tours, or ad-hoc tastings. All experiences are pre-scheduled and highly limited.

Tours & Tastings:
Vineyard and winery tours with tutored tastings run seasonally, generally from May through to the end of August. These tours are released via the Harrow & Hope mailing list and typically sell out very quickly, often within minutes. Booking is essential, and signing up to the mailing list is the only way to access tour tickets. Each tour lasts approximately two hours.

Outside of these scheduled tours, the estate is not open for tastings or visits.

Cellar door sales:
The cellar door is open for wine sales Monday to Friday, 9:00am–4:30pm. This is for purchases only and does not include tastings or tours. The estate is closed at weekends except for pre-booked tours and events.

On-site facilities:
Harrow & Hope does not have a restaurant or café. During the summer, they host a small number of Friday night drinks evenings in the vineyard, where wines are available by the glass or bottle. They also hold occasional pre-release events for new wines.

Children & Dogs:
  • Children under 12 are not permitted on vineyard tours due to safety requirements in the working winery. They are welcome at the cellar door during weekday opening hours.
  • Dogs are welcome on the vineyard when kept on a lead. For health and safety reasons, they are not permitted inside the winery or shop, but a designated grassy area is available outside the cellar door.
Accommodation & Events:
There is no accommodation on site. Aside from scheduled tours, summer drinks evenings, and occasional pre-release events, there are no regular visitor events, and availability should always be checked directly with the vineyard.

The Wine at Harrow & Hope

Harrow & Hope is dedicated solely to the production of high-quality English traditional method sparkling wines. Their range typically includes Brut Reserve, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, and Rosé, crafted from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grown on their single-vineyard estate near Marlow.

The estate has received significant recognition for its wines, including being named UK Winery of the Year at the WineGB Awards in 2019. Recent accolades include a Gold Medal for Blanc de Noirs 2018 at the WineGB Awards 2023 and a joint win for Blanc de Blancs 2018 at the WineGB Awards 2024. The Brut Reserve has also received multiple silver medals at major competitions.

Viticulture at Harrow & Hope follows sustainable principles, with a focus on organic nutrition and the avoidance of herbicides, alongside a stated commitment to working towards a net-zero future. All winemaking takes place in their purpose-built on-site winery, allowing close control from harvest through to bottling.
