Overview Return to contents
What's the vibe
Kinsbrook is busy, social, and built around people spending time together rather than just tasting wine and leaving. It feels closer to a neighbourhood hangout than a traditional vineyard, with dogs wandering between tables, families staying for lunch, and locals dropping in as much for the atmosphere as for what’s in the glass. The setup is informal and inclusive, without losing sight of the wine itself.Visiting information Return to contents
Kinsbrook is open seven days a week and is one of the easiest vineyards in Sussex to visit without planning far ahead.
Walk in or book ahead?
You can drop in for coffee, small bites, pizzas, and drinks at the cellar door or on The Patio without booking. For vineyard tours and the restaurant, booking ahead is recommended, especially at weekends.
Vineyard Tours & Wine Tastings:
Vineyard tours and tastings usually run from Thursday to Sunday at 11:00am, with additional sessions during the summer months. Tours last around 90 minutes and include a walk through the vineyard followed by a tasting of three KIN wines, paired with light nibbles. Private tours are also available by arrangement.
Restaurant & café:
The Farmhouse at Kinsbrook combines a relaxed eatery with a farm shop. The menu focuses on seasonal, locally sourced produce served in a small-plates, sharing style. Brunch and lunch are served throughout the week, with dinner available on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Special events:
Kinsbrook runs a full calendar of events, including supper clubs, live music on Sundays (known as The Sunday Sessions), and an annual Harvest Festival. The venue is also licensed for weddings.
Dogs & children:
Kinsbrook is genuinely dog- and family-friendly. Dogs are welcome across the vineyard and in the restaurant, though not usually inside the farm shop itself. There’s a dedicated children’s play area, and the main building is wheelchair accessible, with a lift to the upstairs dining space.
Accommodation:
There is currently no on-site accommodation, though plans for future glamping have been announced.

The Wine Return to contents
Kinsbrook farms several vineyard sites across West Sussex, growing varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Bacchus, Pinot Gris, and Précoce Pinot Noir. Wines are released under the KIN label and include still whites, sparkling wines, and rosés.
The style tends towards freshness and drinkability, designed to work as well with food and social settings as in a tasting lineup. In 2025, Kinsbrook opened its own on-site winery, allowing full control over the winemaking process from vine to bottle and supporting a more hands-on, site-led approach going forward.
Sustainability is central to how the vineyard operates, from vineyard practices to the way the wider site is run, with a focus on long-term land use rather than short-term output.

For the extra curious Return to contents
Kinsbrook has grown quickly compared to many English vineyards, but its identity is less about scale and more about use. The site is designed to work as a shared space for eating, drinking, and events, with wine as the anchor rather than the sole focus.
Opening an on-site winery marked a shift towards greater independence in production, while the broader hospitality offering reflects a deliberate move to make vineyards feel less exclusive and more part of everyday rural life in West Sussex.
