The Wine
Return to contents
Lokkelebery Vineyard, established in 2022, is a young Hertfordshire vineyard planted with classic grape varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir Précoce. The first still wines, including a premium rosé, are anticipated for release in 2025, with traditional method sparkling wines expected from 2028. The vineyard’s future wines will be produced under the Lokkelebery label as the vines mature.
The vineyard is committed to sustainable practices, nurturing wildflower meadows, wildlife hedgerow corridors and employing environmental monitoring to guide vine care. While wines are still developing and have not entered award competitions, the vineyard’s ethos places nature and place at the heart of their work.
