Renegade Urban Winery operates from its main site in Walthamstow, London, where all wine production takes place, and also has a wine bar in Bethnal Green.

Walk-ins & Bookings: You can generally pop in for a drink or meal, as tables are first-come, first-served for parties of 15 or fewer. For larger groups, reservations are highly recommended.

Tours: Weekly winery tours and tastings are held at the Walthamstow winery, lasting approximately one hour. These tours require pre-booking. Visit the events and experiences page to book.

Food & Drink: The Walthamstow site's kitchen residency, LEO, serves modern British small plates. Table bookings are recommended. Renegade also offers cocktails and guest beers.

Wine Tastings: Tastings are available through ticketed tasting events. Some tasting packages include snack plates from the kitchen residency; prices start from £16 per person depending on the event. Booking is required.

Regular Events: Renegade runs a full programme throughout the week, including a live pianist, Pinot and Bambino sessions (ideal for parents with young children), a monthly cheese and wine pairing evening at the Bethnal Green site, and occasional collaborations with East London Wine School and other partners. Dogs & Children: Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the tasting room. Children are also welcome when accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Renegade Urban Winery takes an innovative approach to winemaking in the heart of London, breaking from traditional rules and focusing on crafting unique and premium wines. They produce a diverse range of 12-17 wines annually, with releases rarely repeated, ensuring a continually evolving selection. Their portfolio includes still, sparkling, red, white, rosé, and orange wines, as well as Pet-Nats, showcasing a broad spectrum of styles.

The winery sources top-quality, hand-harvested grapes from small, family-owned vineyards across the UK and Europe, with approximately 50% from England and the remainder from countries like France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. These grapes are transported to London in refrigerated trucks, ensuring their quality is maintained. All winemaking processes-from destemming and pressing to fermentation, ageing, and bottling-are carried out in their Walthamstow facility.
