The Wine

Renishaw Hall Vineyard produces a range of award-winning still and sparkling wines. Their portfolio includes still white, still rosé, still red, and traditional method sparkling white wines. Key grape varieties grown include Madeleine Angevine, Rondo, Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Auxerrois, Chardonnay, Muscat, Cabernet Cortiz, Phoenix, and Pinot Noir.

The wines have consistently garnered recognition, with the vineyard earning numerous accolades. In the 2021 WineGB Awards, Renishaw Hall achieved a Gold for its still rosé, Silver for its white sparkling, and Bronze medals for both its still white wine and pink sparkling. Earlier successes include medals from the 2012 WineGB Awards and the 2013 Decanter World Wine Awards.

The vineyard is managed with an emphasis on sustainable practices, employing eco-friendly methods such as avoiding herbicides. While the vineyard is part of the Renishaw Hall estate, it does not have an on-site winery. Their wines are expertly crafted by award-winning winemaker Kieron Atkinson, under the English Wine Project, at an off-site urban winery.
