Visiting: Access to the vineyard and main house is primarily by appointment only or during pre-booked ticketed events.Tours: Vineyard tours are available as part of private events, or during specific 'Open Days' and 'Open House & Tea Room days', often including wine tasting.

Dining: The Stables Tearoom, located near the vineyard, serves refreshments, cream teas, and sweet and savoury treats. Special 'wine and tapas nights' and afternoon tea events are also hosted.

Special Events: Carlton Towers Walled Garden hosts a variety of events, including feasting events with live music, wine and tapas nights, and afternoon teas. The venue is also available for private hire, suitable for intimate dining experiences, baby showers, business meetings, and wedding breakfasts.

Accommodation: Luxurious accommodation is available on-site, including 16 rooms in the main house (including a two-storey bridal suite) and 4 double cottages, alongside 2 self-catered family cottages for longer stays. These are ideal for exclusive use for events or for guests seeking an overnight stay.

Tours and tastings: The Historic Tea and Tour runs for approximately three hours and combines a guided tour of the estate with afternoon tea, including wine from the walled garden. Private hire: Carlton Towers is available as an exclusive-use venue for weddings, corporate events, private parties, filming and photoshoots. The estate can accommodate intimate dinners through to larger celebrations. Enquire via the website for availability.

Carlton Towers Walled Garden produces its own sparkling white and limited-release sparkling rosé wines. The vineyard cultivates cool-climate grape varieties, primarily Auxerrois Colmar (a white variety of Chardonnay grape) and Pinot Noir, which are blended to create their distinctive wines. Their signature sparkling wine is named "Duke Miles", honouring Lord Gerald's late father, the 17th Duke of Norfolk. The vineyard annually produces over 2,000 bottles, a testament to their dedication to quality and local terroir.

In terms of viticulture, Carlton Towers Walled Garden embraces biodynamic principles, showcasing a commitment to sustainable and environmentally conscious winemaking practices.

The estate boasts its own winery, ensuring that the entire winemaking process, from grape cultivation to bottling, is managed on-site, contributing to the unique character of their wines.
