The Wine

Venn Valley Vineyard focuses on producing high-quality English wines. Their current range includes sparkling, still white, and rosé wines. They offer a "First Release" sparkling wine and a "Special Reserve" sparkling wine, both made from 100% Seyval Blanc grapes, alongside a dry still white called "Devon White." Their rosé offerings include "Devon Rosé," a complex rosé wine made from a blend of Pinot Noir, Seyval, Ortega, and Madeleine Angevine, and a "Pinot Rosé" with delicate red fruit notes.

Venn Valley wines have quickly gained recognition. In the 2025 Taste of the West Awards, their Special Reserve Sparkling Wine and Devon White both received Gold Awards, while the Devon Rosé earned a Silver Award.

Sustainability, soil health, and regenerative agriculture are core values at Venn Valley Vineyard. They employ an integrated viticulture approach using traditional, organic, and biodynamic practices, focusing on increasing biodiversity and nurturing the vines naturally. This includes using strimming and mulching instead of weed killer, and incorporating biodynamic soil enhancers and composter to improve soil health and carbon storage. Grass and wildflower strips are maintained to support wildlife, and low-till methods are generally used.

The vineyard boasts its own winery on site, where the grapes are transformed into their acclaimed wines.
