It works equally well as a café stop, a place to linger over a tasting, or a base for live music evenings, with a feel that’s informal, friendly, and very much part of the local community.

The Wine at Alder Vineyard

Alder Vineyard produces both still and sparkling English wines, made from Madeleine Angevine, Rondo, and Seyval Blanc. All wines are produced on site in Alder’s own winery, allowing close control from harvest through to bottling.

The wines have received multiple awards, including an IEWA Bronze medal and several WineGB West awards, reflecting consistency across both still and sparkling styles rather than one-off releases.
