Exclusive vineyard and winery tours are available, personally guided by the proprietor. These intimate events are limited to approximately 10-12 guests to ensure a personal and informative experience. Tours typically take around 1.5 hours and include a tasting of four wines. There are only a small number of dates each year (there were 4 in 2025) - we share them with our subscribers as we learn about them, so ensure you sign up if this is one you plan on visiting!
Bespoke group tours can also be arranged - please get in touch with the vineyard directly.
The Wine
Babu's Vineyard produces a range of award-winning white and rosé wines, largely crafted from Solaris for their white wines and Rondo for their rosés; a red is also in the making. Signature white wines include "The Parson's Pleasure," an easy-drinking off-dry blend, and "Dolce Solaris," a medium-sweet white. They also offer "The Parson's Pudding," a sweet dessert white from late-harvested Solaris grapes. A new red wine, "The Rector's Red 2021," made from Rondo grapes and aged in oak barrels, is anticipated for release in late 2025.Since opening their winery in 2014, Babu's Vineyard has garnered significant recognition, including 2 Gold, 11 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals. In the 2023 WineGB East Competition, they were awarded three Silver medals, notably for "The Parson's Pudding" dessert wine, and a Bronze medal for their 2022 Rosé. Their 2023 "The Parson's Pleasure" also secured a Silver medal in the 2024 WineGB East Competition.
The vineyard boasts its own winery, established in 2013, allowing for full control over the winemaking process.
