What's the vibe?

Cobble Hill Vineyard is a family-run vineyard in North Norfolk, set on a working farm near the village of Docking, close to Burnham Market. The focus is on small-scale, hands-on wine production, with visitors invited to learn about the vineyard, winery and wines in a relaxed rural setting.

Tours & Tastings:

Cobble Hill Vineyard offers guided vineyard and winery tours, starting at midday and lasting approximately two hours. Guests are taken through the vineyard and winery before being guided through a tasting of up to five current releases, accompanied by a lunch platter. Tours are priced from £45 per person.

Booking:

Advance booking is required, and a minimum of six people is needed for tours to go ahead. Check the website for available dates and to book.

Private Hire:

Cobble Hill offers three venues for private events, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. The Tasting Shed accommodates up to 12 guests (May to September); the Winery Tasting Room - a cosy barn with a fireplace - holds up to 14 and is available year-round; the Winery Room seats up to 24 and is open all year except September and October. Events can be tailored to suit, from a private winemaking masterclass to a five-course sit-down meal, from £45 per person.

Restaurant / Café:

There is no standalone restaurant or café on site. Food is provided as part of booked tour and private hire experiences.

Gift Shop:

Current vintages, previous vintages and gifts and accessories are available to buy via the online shop.

Events:

Cobble Hill runs a regular programme of events throughout the year, including a monthly Supper Club, a Tapas Evening, a wine and oysters evening with Gurneys in spring and summer, and a Wine and Godwick Turkeys event at Christmas. The team also appear at Holt Farmer's Market on the first Sunday from April to December. See the events page for current listings.

Accommodation:

There is no accommodation available at the vineyard.

Dogs & Children:

The vineyard is dog-friendly. Visitors are advised to check directly with the vineyard regarding suitability for children when booking.

Cobble Hill Vineyard grows Bacchus, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on its North Norfolk site. These grapes are used to produce a range of English still and sparkling wines, with a focus on expressing the character of the local landscape.

Winemaking takes place on site at the family farm, allowing the team to oversee production from grape growing through to bottling. Cobble Hill Vineyard’s wines have received recognition at English wine competitions, reflecting the estate’s emphasis on quality and careful winemaking.

By Car:
The vineyard is accessible by car and is located a short distance from Burnham Market. On-site parking is available for visitors.

By Public Transport:
Burnham Market does not have a railway station. Visitors using public transport should travel by train to a nearby mainline station and continue by bus or taxi to reach the vineyard.
