The Wine

Penn Croft Winery produces a range of still wines, predominantly white. Their grape varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Bacchus. Notable wines include their Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Their wines have received significant recognition, particularly from the WineGB Awards. In 2023, their 2022 Penn Croft Village Bacchus and 2021 Pinot Blanc were awarded silver medals. In 2022, they secured three Silver medals for their 2021 Bacchus, 2020 Pinot Blanc, and 2021 Sauvignon Blanc. Their Penn Croft Village 2023 (Bacchus) also received a medal at the WineGB Awards 2024.

Penn Croft is deeply committed to sustainable practices, focusing on regenerative viticulture. This approach goes beyond basic sustainability by actively restoring soils, promoting biodiversity through diverse plant species between vines, and employing minimal soil disturbance. Their winemaking philosophy aims to protect the natural world.

The vineyard boasts a state-of-the-art winery on site, with a 600-tonne capacity. This facility also operates as Itasca Wines, providing contract winemaking services for other producers.
