The Wine
Return to contents
The Dell Vineyard grows grape varieties suited to the Welsh climate, including Solaris, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Cabernet Noir, and Souvignier Gris. The vineyard produces still white, rosé, and red wines, as well as a col fondo style wine. A sparkling rosé has already been released, with a Blanc de Noirs due for release later this year.
The vineyard has received growing recognition for its wines. At the 2024 Welsh Vineyard Association Welsh Wine Awards, The Dell Vineyard won both Best Still Wine and Best Still Rosé, building on earlier success in previous competitions.
All wines are produced on site at the estate’s own winery, with grapes planted, grown, harvested, and bottled on the farm. The vineyard aims to operate as sustainably as possible, maintaining a direct, estate-to-bottle approach.
