While visitor facilities are still being developed, Kingsthorne is progressing towards offering a comprehensive experience.

Visitor Facilities: Plans are underway to build a winery, estate shop, wine tasting gallery, and events buildings. WineGB also notes these as "Coming soon". Kingsthorne anticipates welcoming guests to these new facilities.

Tours & Tastings: Visits and tours are generally arranged by appointment or as part of specific events. It is advisable to check their official website for the most current information on availability and booking.

Events: Kingsthorne hosts special events, such as their "Vines & Spice: A Thai-Tingling Harvest Night". Keep an eye on their website for upcoming event listings.

Wine Tastings: Tastings are available from £20 per person, with pre-booking essential. Previous tasting events have included food pairings - such as award-winning fish and chips - alongside a generous glass of Kingsthorne wine or cyder.

Farm Shop: A fully stocked farm shop is planned to open adjoining the estate office, as part of the wider Flaxley Estate development.

Kingsthorne produces a diverse range of English wines from its vineyards across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. Their portfolio includes still white, sparkling white, and rosé wines, featuring grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. They also craft red wines, including a Pinot Noir Early, and offer Briery Orchard Cyder.

Kingsthorne wines have received recognition, with their 2023 Chardonnay earning a Bronze award at the Decanter World Wine Awards. Their Rosé and Chardonnay have also received positive scores, demonstrating the quality of their production. The vineyard operates its own 250-tonne capacity winery, integrating modern stainless steel tanks with traditional methods for optimal wine development.

Sustainability is a key focus, with the Flaxley estate encompassing 140 acres of grassland, wildflower meadows, and woodlands, alongside their vineyards. This diverse ecosystem supports rare breed White Park cattle and beehives, reflecting a commitment to biodiversity and environmental stewardship.

By Public Transport
The nearest major train station is Gloucester. From Gloucester, it is recommended to take a taxi or a local bus service (such as the Stagecoach 22 bus) towards Newnham. A taxi from Gloucester station to Flaxley would take approximately 15-20 minutes, while the bus journey to the Newnham area is around 30-40 minutes, followed by a short taxi ride or walk to the vineyard.
