Visiting information

Tours & Tastings: Winbirri Vineyards offers guided Vineyard Tour & Tasting Experiences which must be pre-booked. These tours are seasonal, typically running from May to September, and last approximately 3 hours.

Wine Garden: For those not on a tour, a Wine Garden Bar is open on weekends alongside the tours from May to early September.
Food & Drink: Optional Cheese & Charcuterie Platters, curated with local Norfolk produce, can be pre-ordered to accompany your visit. Picnics are not permitted as food options are available on-site.
Dogs: Dogs are not permitted on tours, with the exception of guide dogs. However, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the Wine Garden.
Accommodation: There is no accommodation on site.
Events: Winbirri Vineyards can also host private events and corporate gatherings.

The Wine

Winbirri Vineyards produces a diverse range of still and sparkling wines, including still white, still rosé, and still red wines. Their vineyards are planted with grape varieties such as Bacchus, Solaris, Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir, Rondo, Dornfelder, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. Notably, their white and sparkling wines constitute 60% of their production, with red wines making up the remaining 40%.

The vineyard has garnered significant recognition for its wines, notably winning a prestigious award at the Decanter World Wine Awards. In 2017, Winbirri Vineyards made history when their Bacchus 2015 received the Platinum Best in Show medal for Best Value White Single-Varietal in the world.

Winbirri Vineyards operates with a philosophy of minimal intervention and sustainability, striving for practices that exceed organic standards, though they are uncertified. They utilise natural pest control and avoid harmful chemicals, with some grapes grown without sprays or pesticides for over four years. Their wines are also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. All wines are produced on-site in their modern, state-of-the-art winery, allowing grapes to be processed minutes after picking.
