The experience feels personal and practical, with time spent understanding how the vineyard operates and how its wines are made, followed by tasting in a relaxed countryside setting.

The Wine
Return to contents
Woodfine Wine produces English wines made from estate-grown fruit, with all winemaking carried out on site. The range includes both still and sparkling wines, reflecting classic English grape varieties suited to the Buckinghamshire climate.
The vineyard operates its own winery, allowing close oversight of the full process from harvest through fermentation and bottling. Wines are produced in small batches, with an emphasis on site expression rather than large-scale production.
Woodfine Wine's vineyard and winemaking is committed to organic-certified and sustainable vineyard practices and is certified by the Soil Association, in addition to being a member of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain. Their commitment to natural wine means adding zero additions into the wine (including no added sulphites), no fining, and filtration only as part of the disgorging of wines - the result is small batch, natural wine.
