The Wine
Yotes Court produces a range of award-winning still and sparkling wines exclusively from grapes grown on their 75-acre vineyard in Kent. The first vintage was in 2020. They focus on single vintage, 100% single varietal wines to truly reflect the unique characteristics of each grape and the vineyard's distinctive geography.Their current range includes still wines such as Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Bacchus, Pinot Meunier Rosé, and Divico. For sparkling wine, they produce a Pinot Gris using the Traditional Method. The vineyard cultivates seven different grape varieties, providing future scope for a wider array of red, white, and rosé wines.
Yotes Court has received several accolades for its wines. Their first vintage wines earned medals at the 2021 WineGB awards, and their 'Best Turned Out' Pinot Meunier Rosé won the Newcomer Award at the same event. More recently, their 'LiveLoveLaugh' Sparkling Pinot Gris Early Release 2022 secured a Bronze Medal in the Herbal Gardens Category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards in 2024.
Sustainability is central to Yotes Court's ethos. The vineyard was one of the first producers to be accredited under the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain (SWGB) scheme in August 2020 and has achieved the Gold Standard. They embrace regenerative agriculture practices, committed to enhancing the environment through their viticulture and winemaking. All Yotes Court wines are suitable for vegans.
While Yotes Court does not have an on-site winery, they collaborate with Defined Wine, a highly respected and SWGB-accredited winery located near Canterbury. This partnership ensures that their wines are sustainably produced from "ground to grape to glass."
