Nestled in the picturesque village of Shoreham, The Mount Vineyard offers a welcoming escape with its elegant setting, combining a stylish tasting room and courtyard with the charm of a working vineyard. It's a place where you might plan a short visit and find yourself lingering longer, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere whether you're meeting friends, celebrating, or on a romantic date.

Booking your visit We recommend booking in advance to ensure the best experience and avoid disappointment, particularly during weekends and peak season. Private hire and events The Mount is available for private hire, including weddings, corporate events, location filming and photography. We offer tailored corporate grape picking experiences designed around your group's requirements. Our Nordic tipi can be exclusively hired for special occasions. For dining, we can arrange semi-private or exclusive use of The Samuel Palmer, our sister 15th century inn, which offers additional catering flexibility for larger groups. Dining and refreshments We have a restaurant on site. Please note that only food and drink purchased at The Mount can be consumed on the premises – outside food and drink are not permitted. Dogs Well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Mount. Shopping Our Ten Acres Shop stocks wines and gifts. Barista coffee is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. Parking Parking is limited, so please plan accordingly. Outdoor seating Weather permitting, the Wine Deck offers outdoor table seating on a first come first served basis from 12pm. Please note the Flint Bar and tipi close for the winter season and reopen in May.

The Mount Vineyard cultivates eight different grape varieties across its 10-acre estate, producing a range of still and sparkling wines. Their still wines include red, white, and rosé, notably a White Pinot. For sparkling wines, they produce a rosé from a blend of Pinot Noir, Seyval Blanc, and Phoenix, and a sparkling red made from Rondo, Regent, and Pinot Noir. Grapes grown on site include Phoenix, Seyval Blanc, Bacchus, Chardonnay, Siegerrebe, Pinot Noir, Regent, and Rondo.

The vineyard's wines have received notable recognition, including "The Kent Wine of the Year 2017" and being a finalist in 2018. They were also awarded "Wine Tasting Experience of the Year" in the UK by The Luxury Travel Guide. Their Cellar Key red wine, a blend of Rondo, Regent, and Pinot Noir, earned a bronze medal at the 2015 International Wine and Spirits Competition.

While The Mount Vineyard does not have an on-site winery, they meticulously monitor the development of their wines in vats, barrels, and bottles, using only estate-grown grapes to ensure quality. Their wines are produced by Litmus Wines in Surrey. Information regarding specific organic, regenerative, or other sustainability certifications was not found.

By Car: The Mount Vineyard is located at The Mount, Church Street, Shoreham, Sevenoaks, Kent TN14 7SD. On-site parking is available. From the M25, exit at Junction 4 and follow signs towards Orpington/Sevenoaks, then Shoreham.

By Public Transport: The nearest station is Shoreham (Kent) station, which is just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the vineyard. Direct train services are available from London (Victoria, Blackfriars, City Thameslink), Bromley South, and Sevenoaks.
