Tours & TastingsAll tours must be pre-booked. Giffords Hall offers both small group Vineyard Tour and Tasting experiences, as well as Grand Tours on selected dates. Tours typically run from March through to the end of harvest (around mid-September), every Wednesday to Saturday at 11 am. Private tours can also be arranged for groups of eight or more.
Cellar Door Shop & Cafe
The Cellar Door shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 4 pm. From May to September, it extends its hours to include Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays. During the summer season (May to September), an al fresco café is also available on Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

The vineyard is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets. Dogs are welcome on a lead. Children are also welcome; under 18s can join tours for free, though wine tastings are strictly for those over 18.
Accommodation
Giffords Hall Vineyard offers on-site accommodation in a beautifully appointed cottage that sleeps four, with one king-sized and one twin bedroom. There is also a Garden Annex available for rent.
The Wine
Giffords Hall Vineyard crafts a range of award-winning English sparkling and still wines, including elegant white, rosé, and red varieties. They cultivate diverse grape varieties such as Bacchus, Rondo, Madeleine Angevine, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc, with recent additions of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Meunier.The vineyard has garnered numerous accolades over the years. Their Bacchus 2024 vintage received a Gold at the Independent English Wine Awards 2025, and their Classic Cuvée 2018 won the prestigious overall Wine of the Year trophy and the Spear Trophy for Best Sparkling Wine at the Wine GB East Awards 2022. They have also been recognised with the Waitrose Trophy for Best Rosé Wine.
Giffords Hall Vineyard is committed to sustainable practices, engaging in the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain initiative and adhering to minimal intervention principles. They employ organic farming methods and utilize rare breed sheep for natural weed control. The vineyard features an on-site winery where wines are produced in-house using both stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels.
