About Vinebound
How it started
In May 2025, while planning a trip to the New Forest, I came across a vineyard you could visit nearby. I'd always known English vineyards existed - there's that one friend who always turns up with a bottle of Nyetimber — but I'd never thought about actually visiting one. That evening, tickets booked for Setley Ridge and, noticing another just down the road, The Wharie Experience I started wondering why I'd left it so long.
By the end of the week I was plotting vineyard weekends for the rest of the summer and pencilling in 2026 trips to Cornwall for sea views and sparkling, Kent for its cluster of top estates, and a full tour of Wales somewhere in between.
From Planning to Vinebound
When I started organising, I found plenty of information online, but it was often out of date, incomplete, or hard to filter. Vineyard events were a particular challenge: brilliant things were happening, but there was no easy way to see what was on, when, and where. That's when the idea for Vinebound came together.
It's still a work in progress, but it's already the tool I use to plan my own visits — I've made it to 36 vineyards so far, with plenty more in the pipeline. I hope it helps you do the same.
