Best Vineyard Restaurants in Surrey
Jump to a section
Denbies is Surrey's only vineyard with a full restaurant — the Gallery Restaurant overlooks the vines and serves a broad menu from breakfast through to afternoon tea. Greyfriars, in Puttenham, doesn't have a restaurant but runs Food Truck Fridays through summer, with street food served alongside their wines from 4pm. For a county with as many vineyards as Surrey, the dining options are otherwise thin, which makes the short drive into West Sussex worth considering. Wiston's Chalk Restaurant (Michelin Guide), Kinsbrook (Good Food Guide, head chef from 64 Degrees), Bolney's Eighteen Acre, and Ashling Park are all within 30-40 minutes of the Surrey border and represent some of the strongest vineyard dining in the South East. Squerryes in Kent, with two AA Rosettes and a tasting menu, is similarly accessible from east Surrey. If you're visiting Albury Organic Vineyard, The Drummond at Albury is a well-regarded gastropub a short walk from the estate — seasonal British menu, good Sunday roast.
