Lympstone Manor, on the Exe estuary, has dogs in the grounds, the vineyard and on the terraces, and in its more relaxed Pool House Restaurant and Bar. Dogs are not allowed in the main house or the Michelin-starred restaurant. At Calancombe Estate dogs on leads can walk in the vineyard, but not in the restaurant, tasting areas or winery, so it suits a walk more than a long lunch.
